Photo Galleries
Photos in the Current and Members Galleries are separated out into individual groupings in the family galleries. Click on any thumbnail to see the full image and information.
Anyone in the TOC can submit photos of birds seen in Ontario for consideration. Please feel free to send your best results at any time. We cannot guarantee that all photos will be shown. Those that are shown may be used again anywhere on the site.
Have your own photography page on the site.
If you are a club member and have ten or more good quality photographs of Ontario birds, you can have your own location in the Members‘ Galleries to show your work.
Submitting Photos
Send your photos in jpeg format . Please use the Ontario Checklist as a guide to spelling of names. Photos will automatically be resized to fit, so it's ok to send larger files. If EXIF data is included in your file, it will automatically be displayed below the photo. Camera data will no longer be added as a comment.
The following information is requested for each photo:
1. Your name, and the name and contact information of the photographer if you did not take the photo.
2. The date and location at which the photo was taken.
3. Other information such as age, sex, and subspecies are welcome.
4. Your website URL and contact email if you wish us to include it.
